What we collect and why
The only personal data this site processes comes from the inquiry form on the contact page. When you submit it, we receive your name, email, an optional phone number, an optional organization, and the message you wrote. We also record whether you ticked the consent checkbox.
We use these details for one purpose: to read your question and reply to it by email. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers, and no third party receives your inquiry. The form is sent to a handler on this same domain (/api/inquiry) and is used only to respond to you.
Legal basis under Taiwan’s PDPA
Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法), we rely on your consent — the checkbox you tick before sending — as the legal basis for collecting and using your name, contact details and message. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing info@heliosfabric.digital, and we will stop using the data to reply and remove it as described below.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages only for as long as needed to answer your question and to keep a short record of the reply we sent. Unless a longer period is required by law, we delete inquiry data no later than twelve months after the conversation closes. Consent preferences stored in your own browser are kept by your browser, not by us, and are removed when you clear your browser storage.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you from an inquiry, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to stop using or to delete it. To exercise any of these, write to info@heliosfabric.digital and tell us which right you are exercising; we will reply without undue delay and at most within thirty days.
Cookies and local storage
This site stores a single consent choice in your browser’s local storage under the key hij_consent_v1 so the banner does not reappear once you have decided. No analytics cookies and no third-party cookies are set. See the cookies page for the full inventory.

This site offers free editorial articles only. No investment advice is given through the inquiry form or anywhere else. Where a question needs a licensed professional rather than an editorial answer, we will say so and point you to one rather than answer it ourselves.
